This morning ☕, I was reading about the "You’ve Got What It Takes" campaign by Female Founders Rise, led by Emmie Faust, and it really struck a chord with me.
🤝 The initiative aims to empower women entrepreneurs, providing them with the tools, resources, and support needed to thrive in business 🏆 One shocking statistic Emmie shared is that ONLY 15% of businesses in the UK are owned or led by women 🤯, a reality I’ve seen firsthand as a Latina businesswoman in the UK.
🙅♀️ As women, and especially as women of colour or non-native english speakers, the challenges can seem overwhelming. We often face cultural, language, and societal hurdles that make the entrepreneurial journey even harder 🧗♀️. But initiatives like You’ve Got What It Takes are changing the narrative, showing us that we can succeed, and more importantly, that we don’t have to do it ALONE.
➕ As we strive for greater visibility, I’d love to shout out some incredible women in business: Emmie Faust, Rebekah Clark FRSA, Jas Schembri-Stothart, Victoria Peppiatt, Debbie Zaman, Catherine Ann Reid, Pamela Aculey, Annie Bartley, Sascha Evans, Eva Thorne, Ren Yi Hooi, Rebekah Lloyd, Dr. Dupe Burgess, Siddhi Mittal, Heinin Zhang, Anshika arora.
